Project EARTHE: Discovering Your Strengths with Our New Web App!

Project EARTHE: Discovering Your Strengths with Our New Web App! In our journey to bridge the skills gap, we’ve reached an exciting milestone: Activity 3 (A3)! This stage is all about self-discovery and personal awareness, and we have some big news to share regarding how you’ll experience it. From Mobile to Web: Accessibility First 💻 While our initial plan mentioned a mobile app, we’ve decided to develop a Web App instead. Why? Because we want to make sure Project EARTHE is as accessible as possible. A web app means no downloads and no storage worries—you can access it instantly from any device with a browser, whether it’s your smartphone, a tablet, or a library computer. This change ensures that every adult learner, regardless of their tech setup, has an equal opportunity to evaluate their skills. What can you do with the EARTHE Web App? Most of us focus on technical skills but often overlook our “transversal” or soft skills. Research shows that many adults aren’t fully aware of their gaps in areas like leadership or stress management. Our web app is designed to change that in just a few minutes.   The app features two main sections: Self-Assessment: A quick evaluation of your readiness in 10 key areas, including communication, ethics, team spirit, and adaptation to technological evolution.   Real-Life Scenarios: You’ll be presented with everyday professional situations where you choose how to act. This helps move the evaluation from “theory” to “practice”. Your Personal “Soft Skills Color” 🎨 Once you complete the assessment, the app classifies your profile into a behavioral pattern represented by colors: Red: High leadership and stress resilience.   Yellow: Strong communication and team spirit.   Blue: Excellence in problem-solving and time management.   Green: High adaptability and readiness for the digital future.   Based on your result, the app will suggest specific “remedial directions” to help you grow in the areas where you need it most.   Multilingual & Open Access To support our diverse European community, the web app will be available in English, Romanian, Greek, and Serbian. Best of all? It will be open access, meaning anyone interested in self-knowledge and career growth can use it for free. We are currently in the technical development phase, led by the team at CIP with content expertise from WEBIN and WECHANGE.   Are you ready to find out your “Soft Skills Color”? Stay tuned for the official link! 🚀

Deep Dive into Project EARTHE: Crafting the Tools for Modern Educators

Deep Dive into Project EARTHE: Crafting the Tools for Modern Educators Since we launched Project EARTHE, our team has been hard at work behind the scenes. Today, we’re excited to take you inside Activity 2 (A2)—the heart of our curriculum development.     We believe that to empower adult learners, we first need to empower the people who guide them: the coaches and educators. That’s why we are creating a Digital Toolkit for Innovative Curriculum and Methodological Development. What exactly are we building? We aren’t just writing a manual; we are designing an interactive, user-friendly digital ecosystem. This toolkit is packed with 6 methodological modules covering the most essential soft skills for today’s job market: Growth Mindset: Moving past “I can’t” to “I can learn,” using reflection journals and 360-degree feedback. Communication Enhancement: Mastering storytelling, active listening, and even improvisation games to connect better with others. Time Management: Going beyond simple calendars with techniques like Pomodoro and delegation workshops. Problem-Solving: Using educational “escape rooms” and rapid prototyping to find creative solutions. Leadership: Developing emotional intelligence and understanding different behavioral styles. Empathy & Resilience: Focused on mindfulness and stress management to stay grounded in a digital world. More than just theory Each of these 6 modules includes 6 innovative teaching methods, practical description sheets, and real-life case studies. In total, we are developing 108 classroom activities that trainers can use right away to make their sessions more engaging and impactful.   A Collaborative Effort This isn’t a one-country project. Our partners from Romania, Serbia, and Cyprus are pooling their expertise to ensure these tools work across different cultures. The final toolkit is available in English (EN), Romanian (RO), Greek (EL), and Serbian (SR). What’s next? Once the eLearning platform is ready, we are going to organise 3 two-day workshops specifically for adult educators and coaches. These sessions will help them master these new tools so they can bring them back to their own communities. We are building more than just a curriculum; we are building a pathway to career satisfaction and digital readiness. Stay tuned as we move from development to action! 🚀
